Our Story
The Figueroa & Flower® brand was born in 2022, but our roots trace back decades through founder Julie Figueroa’s lifelong fascination with fashion, textiles and design.
Julie grew up in a creative household where art, music and culture were always celebrated. Her mother was especially stylish and taught Julie from a young age how to sew, knit and appreciate beautiful fabrics and finishes.
After earning a degree in Fashion Design, Julie gained experience working for major fashion labels in New York City and Los Angeles. She learned the ins and outs of the industry, from design and production to merchandising and retail.
When she became a mother, Julie was inspired to create a women’s fashion brand catering to moms like herself who wanted to look and feel their best while keeping up with busy families. Figueroa & Flower® launched with a small collection of versatile dresses and separates designed for comfort, flattery and effortless femininity.
As the brand grew, Julie focused on creating an inclusive range of styles, shapes and sizes to suit women of all ages. She assembled a talented in-house design team and established fair trade partnerships with female artisans around the world.
Today, over a decade since its founding, Figueroa & Flower® offers full lifestyle collections for women along with a specialty bridal line. But the brand remains committed to Julie’s founding vision of helping women from all walks of life discover the joy of fashion.

At Figueroa & Flower®, our talented in-house design team oversees every aspect of product development from initial concept to finished garment.
We follow fashion trends closely and conduct fittings using real women models so designs are flattering for diverse figures before going into production. Our technical designers create drawings and patterns to bring each piece to life.
Sustainability guides our sourcing and manufacturing partnerships. We work with fair trade factories and vendors around the world, many of them women-owned.
All of our products undergo rigorous inspection and testing throughout the production process. Construction, fabric quality and safety are all verified before pieces are approved for sale online or in stores.
While fast fashion tends to be trend-driven, we take a timeless approach focused on fit, quality and versatility. Our goal is for pieces to stay in rotation season after season.

Our in-house team works alongside vendors and factories to ensure stringent standards are met at every stage. All products undergo multiple quality control checks before reaching our warehouse.
We use high-quality natural fabrics like cotton, linen, silk and cashmere sourced from certified vendors. Synthetic blends incorporate performance fabrics like moisture-wicking polyester and spandex for stretch.
Experienced pattern makers perfect proportion and fit. Garments are cut using specialized machines for precision. High-grade elastics, closures and reinforcements ensure durable construction.
All factories are required to adhere to social compliance regulations and safety standards. This includes fair wages, controlled work hours and environments free from discrimination, forced labor or child workers.
At our distribution centers, all garments are carefully inspected one final time before shipping. Any pieces that do not pass go back for rework or get recycled.
